Ross Treakle got involved in real estate while attending the University of Tennessee in 2003. His first investment deal was purchased “Subject To” and sold on “Lease Option”. It was this first deal which he partnered with his brother which directly led to the creation of the REIFormsGenerator. Since that first deal in 2003, Ross has remained involved with real estate investing and in 2005 Ross started an internet company to provide high quality information for real estate investors.

In 2007 Ross partnered with his brother Graham Treakle to launch one of the webs first networking sites created solely for real estate investors, The Real Estate Investing Link. In addition to creating the networking website, they set out to create an online platform which would allow for the instant creation of real estate documents, that program became known as the REIFormsGenerator.
